Indian Navy Recruitment 2017 – Vacancies for Various Posts
Indian Navy has recently published the notification for the recruitment of Officers. Eligible candidates may apply for the post from last date 10.12.2017. Name of Post : Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA)

Job Location : All over India
Educational Qualification : Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects: – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from an Educational board recognized by Central/ State government.
Age Limit : Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 1998 to 31 Jul 2001 (Both dates inclusive)
Pay Scale : 14,600 p.m
Promotion: Promotion prospects exist up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer-I, i.e. Level 8 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 47,600- ₹ 1,51,100) plus MSP @ ₹ 5200/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay @ Rs 6200/- per month plus DA (as applicable). Opportunities for promotion to commissioned officer also exist for those who perform well and qualify the prescribed examinations.
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.
Examination – The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type. The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
Medical Standards – Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry. Minimum height 157 cms. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.
